I know I'm late here, but I was on time with myspace!

I'm off work next week and I miss my lovies.  I'm now taking votes on which day I should come down... It can't be Thursday night or Friday.  That is if y'all still want to see me. 

I'm going to take a nap now because I am le tired.

I'm showing off my new icon.  It is my lion fish.  Isn't he cool looking?  His body is about 6 inches long and the spins on top are poisonous. 

I haven't been doing much this week except for working.  I've work on the aquarium some.  We added some live rock and a clam to the tank.  We've also started treating the little snot (The blue tang/Dory) for ick.  She has little white spots on her, but she will hopefully be completely better in a month.  Matt and I plan on slowing adding coral to the tank until we have a beautiful, mini coral reef.  I'm excited. 

I'm off school next week and I can't wait.  I need to ride horses more and get a gym membership so I can not be a fat ass.  We are going rafting in West Virginia over the break.  I hope not to die. 

Well I think that is it.  I'm off to shower.

Oh does anyone else have a strange urge to go see Dragon Wars?  No? hmm maybe it is just me and my weird dragon thing.  :)

I miss  Matt... I wish he didn't have to work today.

I am completely and totally awe/star struck.  I'm never washing my right hand again.

After standing in line for an hour and a half, I got to meet the Phelps twins and Matthew (guy who plays Nevil).  They were incredibly nice and cute!  I nervously laughed and stuttered my way through a conversation about the crowd and baseball with the twins.  I was too tongue tied to say much of anything to Nevil.  I just smiled and said thanks like a complete dork.  Matthew did wink at Malinda (little sis).  I told her to go for it.   I didn't get any pictures of them, but $100 later I have all three autographs plus all of the mythterns from Mythbusters.  :) 

I also saw Casey there with Ryan.   I had no idea he was gonna be there.  I felt awkward introducing Matt to him.  Oh well.

We might head back tonight for some drinking and costume watching.

 Write lesson plans on another day other than Friday.  I can't stand not leaving at 3:00 when Matt hasn't had to work all day.  However, one good thing about staying late on Fridays is that I'm actually getting stuff done.  I feel a lot more prepared this year (no afterschool!).  I'm finding myself enjoying teaching and my kids a little more each day and I think it's mostly because I feel more confident in what I'm doing.  I can actually say without a doubt that I can teach a child to read.  Two years ago I wouldn't of had a clue.  On the other hand, no matter how much I start to like this job, I don't think I can/want to do it for 30 years.  I'm crazy enough now.  I don't need 30 years of teaching to make it worse.  I like the little bit of sanity that I have left thank you very much!

In other news, I'm going to try to hit Dragon Con tomorrow.  I'm not sure if I'm buying or borrowing passes.  All I want to do is walk around and look... oh and get Gred and Forge's autographs!!!!!  I know I am le' sad.  If I get to meet them and I can have unlimited autographs, who would like one as a Christmas/ birthday gift?  Sydney I know you want one. 

After Dragon Con, Matt and I are heading to his land in south Georgia to plant food to bait the deer.  YAY FUN!  We get to spend time with his family though, which I like.  I'm still unsure about his sister-in-law though.  She keeps wanting to tell me all about his ex-girlfriends (one was her best friend till she went crazy and became a stripper.... totally new rant that I'll go into later when she gets brought up and I'm having spastic jealous/ insecure feelings) and his ex-wife.  Those of you who have been through an issue with me know that stuff like that eats me  up inside and makes me crazy (again I don't need to be crazier than I already am).  If the sister in law is there then that means I get to be Aunt Rena to Matt's little nephews.  Ethan and Noah are 3 and 1..... soooooo cute!!! 

Ok, I'm gonna go make sure the truck hasn't fallen on Matt and get something to eat... I'm hungry!  I think I'll make vegetable soup (Sydney do you like veg soup?  Cause it has all the foods mixed up...sorry random)

After reading all the hilarious post from good ol' 2002, I think I'm going to start posting on Lj again (try to start posting).  I'm not a big fan of myspace so I think I might return to my original internet obsession.  Who still uses this anyway? 

I'm doing well (more later).  I'm seeing someone very seriously.  His name is Matt.  I'm starting my 3rd year teaching and so far it is going ok.  I hope everyone is doing well.  I miss you are (esp. my Wesleyan girlies).

More later I have to feel my hungry fish and the hungry boy.

Ok so for those who don't know yet. Last week Sai pretty much died on me. Meet my newest baby. I believe HER name is Serenity. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy ^_^



She is a 2006 and for those who are blind, a Mustang. She is a stick with cream interior. I love her!!!! She is getting her first bath in the picture so thats why her wipers are up. For those who can tell... yes there are 3 Mustangs in the driveway... Alex and I were having a car washing party.

In other news, I was taken simi against my will to my first college football game.

Hellloooo everyone. I know its been forever, but my life has just been crazy the past month. Anyway, tonight at my house we are having a HUGE bond fire. It looks to be bigger and better than last year. Anyone who wants to come is more than welcome to. Just respond here if you need directions or a ride. I'm sure someone will take you.
